St. Louis - China Hope Project

• Started in 1999
  Have collected $6,350 and sponsored 127 students
  Two students have entered college
  Have attracted sponsors from St. Louis, UMC, Ohio, Hong Kong, and Greece
  Have collected and sent more than 100 boxes of books to China
  St. Louis Community College International Club raised $1,000 needed to transport donated books to China
  President and faculty from St. Lois Community College have donated money for shipping.

• Co-sponsored by St. Louis Chinese Association, St. Louis Chinese American News, Chinese Culture and Education Foundation and Joy Luck Buffet Restaurant.
