The Chinese Internal Arts Association 2004 Annual Founders Day

The Chinese Internal Arts Association held its 2004 Annual Founders Day Dinner at the Mandarin House Restaurant in St. Louis, Missouri on February 21, 2004. Over 100 persons attended and celebrated the Chinese legacy of Taiji and QiGong. Guests were treated to a 4 course meal and Lion Dance. Group organizers, J. Justin Meehan, Cis Hager and Herb Parran presented awards to individuals who had contributed to and advance American-Chinese cultural understanding. Those honored included:

Fang Chi Yueh - Editor of St. Louis American Newspaper

Qiu Xiao Long - Chinese book author and poet

Dr. Xinsheng Ginger Jiang - doctor of Traditional Chinese medicine and her husband, Guanzhang YU, Professor of Chinese language

Sifu Tim Brewer - teacher of Taiji and QiGong and this year's World Taiji Day organizer to be held at Missouri Botanical Garden on April 24, 2004 and group facilitator for Taoist Study Group.

Sifu Wayne Judge - teacher and the President of Iron Dragon Kung Fu of Chinese Martial Art of Hung Gar
