University City's own Jen Jensen has won 14 gold medals in the women's swimming events of the Senior Olympics. She took first place in all events of her category - a "sweep".

Mrs. Jensen set a new St. Louis record for the 200-yard breast stroke event. "It was fun", she said, as she told of her experience in the Olympics.

Headquarters for the Senior Olympics was located in the JCCA complex. All swimming events were held in the pool there.
