The 1904 World's Fair held in St. Louis
one hundred years ago brought the world
to our city and laid down a template of
how we see ourselves and the world around
us. One hundred years later, the Chinese
American community once again brings the
best of Chinese acrobats to St. Louis for
one incredible show that takes audience
on a two-hour thrill ride of ancient Chinese
acrobatic art of strength, agility, beauty,
and grace. More than 40 performers from
TWO acrobatic troupes will perform gravity
defying and humanly impossible acts that
have won first place awards in the International
Brotherhood of Magicians competition and
the prestigious International Acrobatic
Competition, "Les Feux de La Rampe"
in Paris October 11, 2003. Now St. Louis
has the opportunity to witness the world
class, graceful, and beautiful acrobats
from southern China on stage with the kung-fu
fighting, agile, and thrilling acrobats
from northern China.

 為慶祝1904年聖路易世界博覽會百周年，并向圣路易社區展現中國最好的世界級雜
技表演，由圣路易美華協會主辦，邀請到中國上海雜技團和開封雜技團同台演出之 「歡慶迴聲」，將于10月3日三時，在聖路易密蘇里大學Touhill表演中心盛大演出，票價分$35,$25,$18三種，即日起開始售票，請電密大售

 此次上海、開封兩雜技團同台演出，將有40余位雜技演員，在2小時演出時間里，演
出世界水准之雜技表演，呈現此一中華藝術之力与美的結合，這不但是為慶祝世界博覽 會100周年演出，更是向圣路易社區展示華裔歷史和社區融合。
美華協會原本邀請「金舞銀飾」大型歌舞劇團赴圣市和全美各地巡回演出，可惜因 為赴美簽證問題，以致「金舞銀飾」無法在美國和圣路易演出，主辦單位美華協會當机
立斷改變計划，極力邀請到兩個享譽世界之上海和開封雜技團在圣市同台演出。100年
前圣路易世博會將世界各國，包括中國，帶到圣路易，一百年后，圣路易美華協會將最好
的中國雜技團帶到圣路易演出，為圣路易華人歷史再創新頁，意義非凡。 |
