Workers do not have to return home to file a claim for unemployment
assistance. Calling the U.S. Labor Department's toll free number
(1-866-4-USA-DOL/1-866-487-2365) anytime day or night will provide
information directing you to a local One-Stop Center or a site
near you to take your claim.
