Louis University Museum of Art invites you to a complimentary reception,
Friday, November 4th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM to view the rare jade
funerary suit of the current exhibition, Treasured Jade: The Ronald
and Linda Laspe Poe Collection of Chinese Jade.
There are perhaps no more than 30 of these jade funerary suits
in public or private collections. The jade burial suits of the
Han Dynasty have been found throughout China and demonstrate shared
beliefs and common burial practices dating back more than 2,000
years.
