Month-long blanket collection begins Monday, November
7 and runs through Monday, December 5, 2005
The second annual "BLANKET ST. LOUIS" Blanket Drive
begins this Monday, November 7th and runs through Monday, December
5th. This blanket drive, originated by Webster University students
in the fall of 2004, benefits EnergyCare. EnergyCare, founded
in 1983 by the late Sr. Patricia A. Kelley, provides year round
energy-related services for low-income St. Louis City and County
residents so they can remain safely warm in the winter and cool
in the summer and in their own homes.
EnergyCare is seeking donations of new or clean, gently used
blankets to be distributed among low-income households and families
without adequate home heat. Those who wish to donate blankets
through the Blanket St. Louis Drive may drop their donation off
