Brentwood Parks and Recreation in conjunction with West Community
Credit Union are pleased to bring an expanded Sounds of Summer
Concert Series to Brentwood Park during the summer of 2005. Each
free performance is on a Friday evening from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Concerts
will be held June 3rd, July 8th and August 5th. The next concert
will be June 3rd and will bring back the Beatles with Ticket to
the Beatles (sponsored by Gene Del Printing, Inc.) and other sounds
of the 60𠏋. July 8th features an up and coming group The Falling
Martins (sponsored by Central States Coca Cola) who play a variety
of sounds that will tempt everyone𠏋 taste buds. Billy Peek (sponsored
by SSM Health Centers) will be the grand finale on August 5th
appealing to all blues lovers and mixing in some classic hits.
All ages are invited to enjoy this evening of free entertainment.
Refreshments are available through the Brentwood Lion𠏋 Club to
help in their fund-raising efforts. Guests are also welcome to
bring picnic baskets and lawn chairs so the whole family can be
involved. Brentwood Park is located at 9100 Russell Avenue, approximately
11 miles from downtown St. Louis. Russell Avenue is approximately
?mile south of the intersection of Brentwood Boulevard and Manchester

from The Regional Arts Commission and the Musician𠏋 Performance
Trust Fund in addition to the generosity of several local businesses.
