(St. Louis) On June 11th and 12th, for the eleventh year, tens
of thousands will descend on the historic Central West End neighborhood
for the annual Central West End Art Fair & Taste. Called "one
of this region's best art fairs", over 150 artists combined
with 50 finer restaurants will display and present their expertise
for the weekend. Artists travel from as far away as Hawaii to
participate and the event is well known for it's superior atmosphere
as attendees stroll and shop the tree lined private streets of
the Central West End and dine at fine outdoor patios while attending
the event.
The 11th Annual Central West End Art Fair & Taste will be
held June 11th and 12th from 10 AM to 11 PM on Saturday (artists
will remain open only till 9 PM) and Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM. The
events will be held on the streets in the Central West End on
Euclid Avenue from Lindell to McPherson. Other streets will also
be used for the event including Maryland Avenue, Maryland Plaza
and McPherson. Last year's event drew over 50,000 people.
In addition, for the first time, the Central West End lifestyle
experience of art, food AND architecture can be enjoyed all in
the same weekend! The Central West End Association's 36th Annual
House and Garden Tour also will be held June 11-12. Ten homes
and four gardens on Pershing Place, one of the City's historic
private streets intersecting Euclid Avenue, will be on display
from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days. Tickets are $17.50 in
