On May 06, 2006, the St. Louis Christian Chinese Community Service Center held their 2006 Spring St Louis Chinese & Asian Health Fair at the Immanuel Lutheran Church on Olive Blvd. Walgreen𠏋 Pharmacy at the Olivette Branch was one of the many sponsors that were present at the Health Fair to offer their expertise in the medicine field. Mike Brooks, the Pharmacy Manager, was able to reach out the Chinese community and answered many questions regarding medication issues. Throughout the Chinese Health Fair, Walgreen𠏋 Pharmacy provided free sample such as back massages rollers, stress balls, first aid kit and many more for the Chinese community to enjoy. He also brought along a Chinese translator, Fu-Chin Chen, who also works in the Walgreen𠏋 Pharmacy at the Olivette Branch during the weekends. Since the location of the Walgreen𠏋 Pharmacy is close to the 鏠hinatown,?(between I-170 and North South Rd at Olive Blvd) they provide translation services on prescriptions and insurances to reach out to the Chinese Community. |
