16th ANNUAL INTERFAITH MUSIC FESTIVAL: EXPERIENCING DIVERSE FAITHS AND CULTURES THROUGH MUSIC

        St. Louis-The 16th Annual Interfaith Music Festival: Experiencing Diverse Faiths and Cultures Through Music will be on Sunday, April 29, 2007 from 3:00-5:00 pm at Congregation Shaare Emeth, Ladue and Ballas Road, Creve Coeur, MO. This is one of two annual fundraisers for Interfaith Partnership/Faith Beyond Walls.

        Come celebrate an afternoon of interfaith music, dance and culture. Performances include JOIA World Percussion Ensemble, Shalom Church African American Gospel Choir, Muslim Women's Group performing Pakistani Chants, a Baha'i Prayer chanted in Persian, Soorya Performing Arts performing traditional Indian and Hindu dances, and Cantor Seth Warner of Congregation Shaare Emeth singing Jewish liturgical music. An special invitation is extended to the Chinese community to be our guests at this special celebration of diverse religions..         Interfaith Partnership/Faith Beyond Walls, work together to promote peace, respect and understanding among people of all faiths. Interfaith Partnership/Faith Beyond Walls fosters peace and understanding among faith communities through education, celebration, social advocacy, and service. For over 20 years Interfaith Partnership/Faith Beyond Walls has mobilized over 3,000 volunteers in service projects, and work with 31 different faith communities in the St. Louis Region.
