JEFFERSON CITY - The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold local public hearings in St. Louis and Kirkwood, Missouri, on June 13, 2007, to receive customer comment on a water rate case filed by the Missouri-American Water Company. These local public hearings will also give consumers the opportunity to bring any service related issues to the Commission’s attention.

On December 15, 2006, Missouri-American Water Company filed a rate request with the Public Service Commission seeking to increase annual water operating revenues by approximately $41.4 million in its 10 water districts in Missouri.
