Students from the College of Business Administration at the University of Missouri-St. Louis are offering free tax preparation services to low-income taxpayers and senior citizens now through April 15.
The service is part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. VITA has been offered by UMSL for 34 years. Business students, alumni and faculty prepare tax returns at 11 locations throughout the St. Louis area.
The times, dates and locations are:
* 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, Baden Branch, St. Louis Public Library, 8448 Church Road in St. Louis.
* 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, Barr Branch, St. Louis Public Library, 1701 S. Jefferson Ave. in St. Louis
* 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, Cabanne Branch, St. Louis Public Library, 1106 Union Blvd. in St. Louis
* 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, Deer Run Library, 1300 North Main St. in O'Fallon, Mo.
* 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturdays, Ferguson Municipal Library, 35 North Florissant Road in Ferguson, Mo.
* 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays, Lewis & Clark Branch Library, 9909 Lewis and Clark Blvd. in Jennings, Mo.
* 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays, Natural Bridge Library, 7606 Natural Bridge Road in Normandy, Mo.
* 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, Schlafly Branch, St. Louis Public Library, 225 N. Euclid Ave. in St. Louis
* 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, UMSL, 102 Social Sciences & Business Building on North Campus
