«ü¾É«Ä¤lÌÀx»W¦n²ßºD

First-, second-, and third-graders will learn firsthand from bankers about setting goals for saving money and how to go about reaching those goals on Teach Children to Save Day. On April 23 and 24, local bankers will visit classrooms with coloring books and piggy banks in hand to share lessons about saving money.

Teach Children to Save day is a national event developed by the American Bankers Association Education Foundation and offered locally through the University of Missouri-St. Louis Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Education with the cooperation of The Bank of Edwardsville, Commerce Bank, First Bank, First Community Bank, First State Bank, Frontenac Bank, Gateway Bank, Reliance Bank, Royal Banks, Southwest Bank, Truman Bank, United Missouri Bank, and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Last year, bankers visited students in more than 400 classrooms in the St. Louis area.
