Florence Schachter, MSW, has been promoted to Director of Resident and Community Services at The Gladys & Henry Crown Center for Senior Living Senior Living in University City, 8350 Delcrest Drive. Most recently, Schachter served as Director of Social Services at Crown Center. She received her social work education at Indiana University and has worked with the elderly at Jewish Family & Children's Services in Indianapolis and the Jewish Center for the Aged in St. Louis.
Schachter will be responsible for coordinating programming, the dining site and home delivery of Kosher meals, transportation,social services, and other administrative functions.
Jan Meyer - Program Director at Crown Center
Jan Meyer has been appointed Program Director at The Gladys & Henry Crown Center for Senior Living. Meyer received her Master's degree in Theater and Communications at Southern Illinois University. She was founding director of the St. Louis Jewish Film Festival and has worked in programming and cultural arts at the Jewish Community Center. Most recently, Meyer served as coordinator for the American Parkinson Disease Association of St. Louis. She will facilitate programs and activities for Crown Center residents and community participants. |
