Asian American Leaders and Community Invited to an Open Form
October 11th at 3 pm Sponsored by area Democratic Leaders

        Saturday, October 11th area leaders of the Democratic party will hold an Open Forum for leaders and members of the Asian American community at 3 pm at the Mandarin House restaurant, 9150 Overland Plaza at Olive Blvd.

        U.S. Representative William Lacy Clay, County Executive Charlie Dooley and other Democratic representatives will discuss the Democratic viewpoint on current issues facing voters in the upcoming election including the state of the economy, immigration, healthcare and small business concerns. Topics will include Sen. Barack Obama's stand on the issues as well as state and local concerns. In this historic election it is important that there be opportunities to discuss the issues and to have questions answered.
