172nd RCGA Annual Meeting And Dinner On Thursday, January 15th To Salute John Bachmann

The 172nd RCGA Annual Meeting and Dinner will be held on Thursday evening, January 15th, at the Renaissance St. Louis Grand Hotel downtown, where Edward Jones Senior Partner John Bachmann will be presented with the Right Arm of St. Louis Award, the RCGA's most prestigious honor, and presented annually since 1975 to a person or persons who have made outstanding contributions to the St. Louis region.
John served as Chairman of the RCGA from 2000 to 2003. Then Managing Partner at Edward Jones, he made a major imprint on the RCGA and on the St. Louis region overall. John co-chaired the RCGA Board's Strategy Advisory Team, which produced a long term Regional Agenda, whose products included launching the St. Louis region's BioBelt Plant & Life Sciences initiative; the Private Sector Infrastructure Council; Forward Metro St. Louis; the design and establishment of the Regional Business Council; the Inner City Competitiveness initiative; and the region's active participation in Downtown Now!
His other civic roles include being a long time member of Civic Progress; serving as Honorary Counsel General to Canada; leading the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport expansion effort as Chair of the Joint Civic Progress-RCGA Aviation Committee; and serving as Chair of the Confluence Greenway. A review of the St. Louis region's accomplishments in Economic Development, Public Policy and other areas, as well as a salute to Graybar Electric Chairman, President & CEO Bob Reynolds' continuing leadership as RCGA Chairman, the RCGA Board of Directors and inauguration of 2009 officers, and other RCGA volunteers, will highlight the Annual Meeting and Dinner. Entertainment will be provided by an ensemble from the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra.
Sponsorships are $2,800 and entitle you to preferential seating for a table of 10, recognition in the audio/visual presentation and program, mention on the RCGA's website and in St. Louis Commerce Magazine, special table signage, and a special VIP sponsor reception afterwards.
