China is the third largest market for the U.S. with $71 billion in exports sent to China from U.S. businesses in 2008 - a 9.5% increase from 2007. Breaking into the Chinese market is a major priority for Missouri manufacturing firms based on Commercial Service consultations and narrowing the trade deficit is a major economic issue for the U.S. government.
