UMSL Offers Free Excel Seminars at New West County Center

        Microsoft Excel pros and novices alike can pick up productivity-increasingtips in an overview, macros, or data-manipulation seminar at Excel Night, anopen house at the University of Missouri-St. Louis Computer Education andTraining Center, formerly the Microcomputer Program. Taught by instructorswith real-world experience, these hands-on seminars will introducecapabilities of Excel that make spreadsheet work easier. Excel Night will beheld 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the new West County ContinuingEducation Center, 12837 Flushing Meadows Drive.

        In addition to picking up Excel tips, participants will be able to explorethe new facility, which includes classrooms designed for effective computertraining, updated audiovisual equipment, flexible room layouts, and acentralized student area with laptop stations, a kitchen, and loungeseating.
