Graybar Named To InformationWeek 500 For Innovation

Robert Reynolds, chairman, president and CEO of Graybar
ST. LOUIS -- Graybar, a leading distributor of electrical, communications and data networking products and provider of related supply chain management and logistics services, was named to this year's InformationWeek 500, a listing of some of the most innovative users of business technology.

2010 marks the eighth consecutive year Graybar has appeared on the list. InformationWeek identifies and honors some of the nation's most innovative users of information technology (IT) with its annual 500 listing and also tracks the technology, strategies, investments, and administrative practices of America's best-known companies. Graybar's innovative use of collaboration tools and implementation of software-as-a-service are just two of the many reasons it was named to this year's list.

"The InformationWeek listing spotlights companies that develop and execute IT plans that are both innovative and well-rounded," said Graybar's Vice President and CIO Scott Clifford. "Being named to the list for the eighth consecutive time shows Graybar's continued commitment to technology innovation."
