The Sheldon Concert Hall saw an abundance of youthful talent, joy and exuberance when 27 cast members of the National Touring Company of Bring It On: The Musical performed to a packed audience of over 500 on April 2, 2012 to benefit JDRF.
Featured performer Taylor Louderman is a Bourbon, MO native and a 2009 Sullivan High School graduate. Her younger sister Madison (eight years old) was recently diagnosed with T1D (type 1 insulin-dependent diabetes.)
Members of the cast - on their one night off after a week of eight shows at the Fox - performed the Bring On The Cure cabaret as a tribute and sign of support for Madison and everyone else with T1D. After the show VIP ticket holders enjoyed a meet and greet with the cast and an out-of-this world dessert buffet.
JDRF is the leading global organization focused on T1D. The goal of JDRF research is to improve the lives of all people affected by T1D by accelerating progress on the most promising opportunities for curing, better treating and preventing diabetes.
