Ballwin named to list of safest cities in America

BALLWIN, MO. (KSDK) - A local city has been named one of the safest in the United States.
The City of Ballwin was named the 47th safest city in America for 2013 by NeighborhoodScout.
NeighborhoodScout, a neighborhood research site, released their list of the top 100 safest cities in America. The list is calculated using municipalities with 25,000 or more in population, and based on the total number of crime reported on the FBI's uniform crime reports per 1,000 residents.
Ballwin was the only Missouri city to make the list.
