Traveling and reading extensively would make one to learn a lot different cultures. On the same token, tasting dishes from multiple nations is another way to learn different cultures.

When staying at home, I would have plenty Chinese food. When traveling or being tired of cooking alone, I would do some dining adventures. A good way to understand the culture of a foreign country is through eating its cuisine.

Some time ago, when shopping in East East Oriental Grocery, a Korean grocery store, I pleasantly discovered its new family style restaurant. It was noon so I ordered a bowl of Bibimbap. Inexpensive, delicious and not having to cook were all the good reasons to have meals here. After eating there several times, I came to realize the benefits of Korean cuisine, they are light, tasty, not too oily, free of MSG, low fat, and low calories, which are not only healthy, but also help to control weight.

The restaurant has over thirty kinds of Korean cuisine, all prices are under $10. Seemingly simple food like tofu and pork cooked with homemade broth and spices tasted really. After chatting with the owner of the restaurant, it was revealed that the dishes here are actually ordinary Korean dishes cooked daily in Korean homes. Oh, that is very good as one does not have to travel to Korea to be able to taste the authentic dishes of ordinary Korean families!

It is said that having Korean food is not only the enjoyment of the taste, but also visual enjoyment. It really is. Spicy flavor would stimulate ones taste buds. Red, yellow, and green colors are so nice to see. I would describe a few of my favorite dishes. Of course, everyone's taste is different, and you will find your own favorite dishes there.

My favorite seafood is the spicy tofu pot (Soon-Doo-Boo). The thin tofu and seafood are cooked together, plus a spoonful of chili sauce, delicious flavored rich. In a bowl of sticky, soft and tasty of sushi rice, very enjoyable. It is common in Korean cuisine casserole pot, a warm pot in the winter, very suitable for the stomach.

Meat marinated Korean Sizzling Beef Tenderloin (Pork or Beef Bulgogul) was very tasty, spicy flavor, with a hint of spicy sweetness. The meat was very tender. It is a first class dish to go with rice!

The Korean spicy udon noodles (Spicy Udon Soup): the red color, and the strong Hot & Spicy always increased the appetite. Especially good chewy texture refreshing taste, Korean kimchi, to deduce a delicious Korean people saliva overflowing with hot and sour appetizer. Absolute temptation.

I have eaten Korean bibimbap (Bibimbap) a few times, it is pretty good. Korean bibimbap is a very traditional and co. The traditional way to eat bibimbap was to tore the bowl of rice, meat and vegetables together first and stir well, special sauce topped with sesame oil. Then dine slowly! Bibimbap is very visually aesthetic, with different colors of vegetables, meat embellishment center a beautiful package egg, both seductive and delicious. It looks really adorable and too pretty to eat.

Perhaps the Asian countries are geographically close, though each have their own taste, after all the taste gap is not large, our foods are very close. So, even if you really like Chinese food, you can try here occasionally, maybe only for adventures. You have to wonder whether or not the Korean people are as spicy as it seems.
