This summer, from July 8 to 26, The Fulton School at St. Albans will host an ESL camp for international students. ESL, or English as a Second Language, classes help international students improve their English skills through intensive speaking, writing, listening and reading.

This program is also a wonderful introduction to American culture, offering sporting activities such as hiking, basketball, golf, bowling and more. Plus, shopping trips, visits to historical sights, and sightseeing to popular museums and attractions are an integral part of the program. This ESL camp gives international students who plan to attend a US high school a real advantage.

This co-educational camp is open to international students from 7th through 12th grade. Tuition is $2,800 (USD) per student, which includes transportation to/from airport in St. Louis, educational materials for ESL instruction, housing with a host family, meals at the school and with the host family, sightseeing trips, and activities.

The Fulton School also offers an "International Boarding Program" where students can attend a full school year of study while they stay with host families. This program has attracted students from across the globe for the last 13 years.

Applications for the summer camp are available online at www.tfssa.org/eslcamp  . Or contact Diane Loyd, admissions director, at 636-458-6688 or email dloyd@tfssa.org .

The Fulton School is located just outside the St. Louis (Missouri) metropolitan area on 13 wooded acres. It is a relaxing, safe environment, situated in the small residential city of St. Albans and nestled along the Mississippi River.

Fulton is a small, independent toddler through 12th grade school preparing students for higher education and a lifetime of learning. Using a Montessori-based, multi-aged, personalized approach gives each student the space to learn without limits and to be curious without caution. The students benefit from the small class size (approx. 12). Fulton has a diverse community with differences in race, ethnic and religious heritage, socio-economic background, aptitude, personality, talent and learning style.
