It Takes A Team To Find A Cure
Festivities began with registration and a bountiful brunch buffet. Foursomes got on the course by 11 AM with a shotgun start (lunch and beverages served on the course). Special guest Jay Williamson (PGA golf pro) was available for tips all day. By 4:00 PM (before the rain!) everyone was back for the awards reception and elegant cocktail buffet.
"JDRF (formerly the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) never ceases to amaze me with world-class sponsors, volunteers, and board members like Angie Sprowls who was this year's Golf Chair, T1D families and friends. Proceeds from this event will help us fund research that will deliver life-enhancing therapies and ultimately, a cure for type 1 diabetes," said Jackie Smith, St. Louis Football Hall of Famer and Tee Up to Cure Diabetes Honorary Chairman.
