Bravo to these Young Artists who were First Place Trophy Winners in the recent MMTA State Competition held at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Seated at the piano, left to right, Bo Peng of Parkway South High School, won First Place in 9th grade Solo Piano; Lucy Chen of Old Bonhomme School, won First Place in 2nd grade Solo Piano; and Sophia Wu and Gloria Zhou, standing, were the First Place Trophy Winners for Piano Ensemble in the Senior High Division, grades 10-12. Both Sophia Wu and Gloria Zhou are in the 10th grade at Ladue Horton Watkins High School. All of the above Young Artists study piano with Laura Schindler of Richmond Heights.
