Upon graduation, I began my career in the financial industry as a
stockbroker. Having applied to graduate school to further pursue my
interests in Business and Asian Studies for Fall 2004, I had an
excellent
opportunity offered to me. Not much time to decide and only two weeks
later, I packed my bags and headed to Shanghai, China to teach English and
Business at the second most prestigious Chinese High School in China.
I have never taught, I have never even been to China, and I do not speak
any Chinese. Nevertheless, these daily challenges are preciously why I
came here. I hope to enhance my cultural knowledge and Chinese
conversational speaking ability as well gain additional insight in the
business world.
