FCC St. Louis Culture Camp 2000

Families with Children from China (FCC) is a group of nearly 200 families in the St. Louis area who have adopted children from China. Members of FCC are committed to raising children who are familiar with both their Chinese and American heritage.

On June 24, 2000, FCC hosted its third annual Chinese Culture Day at New City School, 5209 Waterman Boulevard, St. Louis. Programs for the day included Chinese crafts, games, stories and the popular panel discussion featuring distinguished members of the local Chinese American community.

FCC's goals for the Culture Day 2000 are to 1) enhance cultural understanding for both FCC parents and their adopted children and 2) build enduring and friendly relations with the Chinese American community in the greater St. Louis community.

If you have any questions, or would like to learn more about FCC, contact Lynne Spina at 636-386-2320 or email lmspeen@aol.com.
