
Deputy Director of the United Daily News Ms. Hsin-Ping Tien visited St. Louis

Ms. Hsin-Ping Tien, Deputy Director of the United Daily News, and Ms. Yu-Chi Pan, famous children's poet, visited St. Louis on November 18. St. Louis Chinese Writers Association (CWA) hosted a welcome dinner at the China Star Chinese restaurant. Ms. Hsin-Ping Tien graduated from Taiwan Normal University. She is the Deputy Director of the Literary Supplement Section in one of the biggest daily newspapers in Taiwan. Ms. Yu-Chi Pan graduated from a university in Taichung, Taiwan and lives in LA, California. She is a very famous writer of children's books. Her children's poem book ˇ§Little Red Shoesˇ¨ is well known to the Chinese American community here in the US. |
