In response to the air attack in New York and Washington D.C. on 09/11/2001, St. Louis Chinese American News (SCANews) joins the American Red Cross (ARC) St. Louis Area Chapter to set up a donation fund.

and mail to

before 09/28/2001.  SCANews will publish all donators name in newspaper and donate these checks to ARC St. Louis Chapter the first week of October. 

SCANews also encourages donating blood.  Please call
1-800-GIVE-LIFE.   Scheduling an appointment to give blood is recommended, due to the tremendous public response of these disasters.  Hours at the six St. Louis blood donation centers have also been extended.
