Founded
in 2001, the Formosa Foundation is a non-partisan,
non-profit, public interest, educational group
dedicated to the promotion of human rights and
democracy and the exchange of ideas between the United
States and Taiwan, and to foster better understanding
and friendship for he peoples on both sides.
Through public forums and other educational and
research programs on topics concerning the
relationship between the United States and Taiwan, the
Foundation aims to promote the interaction and exchange
of leaders in various fields between these two nations
in order to foster a deeper understanding and
strengthen the U.S. - Taiwan friendship.
