St. Louis Chinese Association board members had a
meeting to discuss the details about the 2002 Chinese
New Year Celebration Party which will be held at the
University of Missouri, St. Louis on 02/16/2002 7:00
PM.
2002 Chinese
New Year Celebration Party
St. Louis Chinese Association together with other
Chinese organizations in St. Louis will organize and
sponsor great St. Louis celebration of 2002 Chinese
new year. The event will take place at 7:00 PM,
February 16, 2002, in the J.C. Penney Hall at
University of Missouri, St. Louis (UMSL).
Major activities of the event include: opening
ceremony, art performance, movie, karaoke, dancing,
chess games, children's recreational programs, and
prize drawings (26 prizes will be drawn). All
activities will be free of charge and voluntary
contributions are appreciated.
The sponsors are still looking for potential sponsors
of the event with the hope that more organizations,
business corporations and individuals will provide
monetary support. Names of monetary donors will
be acknowledged in the program brochure of the event
and the St. Louis Chinese American News.
