Atrium Adventures in China at Saint Louis Galleria

Lantern making

Atrium Adventures is a summer children's program at Saint Louis Galleria. For five Wednesdays this summer over 100 children that visit Atrium Adventures will explore faraway lands from across the world. On these dates from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM in Saint Louis Galleria's Atrium Dining Court the children participate in hands on crafts and watch stage shows produced by our very own Galleria LIVE! performers. The following is the scheduled countries that we plan on exploring for the remaining summer:

July 17: Australia
July 24: Africa

Last Wednesday, July 3, children visited China and learned about the Chinese New Year celebration. The kids made their own paper lanterns and Galleria LIVE! performers brought the Chinese celebration alive on stage! The festivities heightened as the chidden took their paper lanterns in one hand and fortune cookies in the other and marched in a "mini-parade". Below are pictures of the celebration!
