2002 International Folkfest

This year, more than 100 ethnic and international organizations have joined the International Institute to present Folkfest '02, a fun-filled celebration of our multi-ethnic heritage.

Folkfest has three goals.  One is to raise the general public's awareness of our region's diverse cultures.  Another is to create an atmosphere of harmony among many groups.  Finally. Folkfest seeks to strengthen ethnic organizations and encourage the preservation of cultural traditions.
