Jim Ryan will work with the Asian American community to identify qualified candidates to increase the number to coincide with the percentage increase of Hispanic Americans in the State of Illinois.

* Jim Ryan will have Asian Americans on your transition team to advise on issues of importance in the State of Illinois.

* The Governor's office will work to ensure that a more effective partnership will be made between the State and the Asian American community in order to have a higher percentage of Asian Americans in the State workforce.

* As Governor, Jim Ryan will establish an Asian American Advisory council when you are elected Governor that will work to advise you on issues of importance in the community.

* The Governor's office will work to promote the culture of the Asian American community to the State and the children of the State of Illinois through heritage month celebrations, community events, and workshops in schools.
