Melody Cheung Receives AAF's "Most Promising Minority Students Program" Honor for 2003

St. Louis, MO (May 8, 2003) ˇV Melody Cheung was recognized in a ceremony at University College for having received the ˇ§Most Promising Minority Students Programˇ¨ Award for 2003 from the American Advertising Federation. The AAF award had been presented at the annual Building Bridges for Our Future luncheon held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City, February 14th. 

Melody Cheung was one of sixty-five students selected from colleges and universities across the United States. This honor recognizes students who are U.S. citizens of African, Hispanic, Native American, Asian or Pacific Islander descent, have a high academic standing, demonstrated interest in the advertising industry, and have leadership and character indicators such as community service. The ˇ§Most Promising Ad Studentsˇ¨ were featured in the February 10 issue of Advertising Age. 

Cheung graduated May 16 from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, she was a member of the Washington University Advertising Club and a member of the American Advertising Federation.
