APPLICATION INFORMATION (U.S. Applicants)
WHEN : The 2-week Program will be held from June 18 through 30, 2006
WHERE: Los Angeles (June 18-22) & Washington D.C. (June 23-30)
WHO: Participation is limited to 20 college and graduate students of U.S. citizenship or permanent residence who support the advancement of human rights, democracy and the right to self-determination of Taiwan.
HOW: To apply, please submit the following items for consideration:1. Completed application form2. A two-page typed and double-spaced statement describing your interest in andgoals for the Program3. A copy of your most recent transcript4. Two (2) letters of recommendation5. Optional supplementary material you believe will help the selection committeeevaluate your application
DEADLINE All applications must be received on or before March 31, 2006

The Selection Committee will announce its selection results by April 30, 2006.
COSTFormosa Foundation will cover expenses for tuition, meals and lodging for the duration of the program, and round-trip transportation from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. Participants shall be responsible for transportation and any lodging expenses coming to and leaving from the Ambassador Program.
