St. Louis Taiwanese Presbyterian Church Vacation Bible School

Thanks to the prayers, giving hearts and hard work of a great many of the Taiwanese Presbyterian Church family, and in the larger ethnic community, TPC has just concluded what is probably the best Vacation Bible School it has ever been blessed to hold.  We were able to share the Gospel of our Blessed Lord with a grand total of 51 children last week, and with these seeds planted in their hearts trust that they will be better, more responsible children.  They have all become like our own families and we hope to see every one of them often!!

Parents & Families:  First of all, thanks go to all the parents and families who brought their beloved children and sent to our vacation Bible school this year.  We love you all!

Publicity:  Thanks go to all the many people who made flyers, wrote articles, sent emails, made calls, published articles and put up signs and banners.  Because of the all this publicity, we had a really great turnout.

Decorating:  Thanks go to so many people who built canopies, set up the gazebo, painted the mural, hung decorations, designed the layout, and brought so many things to create the wonderful atmosphere of a neighborhood town square somewhere in 1st century Jerusalem.

Supplies and Materials:  Thanks go to all you who brought supplies, materials and costumes, and the many other items used in our tribes and Synagogue school and marketplace shops.  All these items made our town square interesting and lifelike.

Teaching and Leading:  Thanks go to all who gave so much of their time, talent and patience to work directly with the children, either as leaders or assistants, directing, planning, sharing the truths of the Bible and the love of Jesus with them, studying and preparing lessons, music, games and crafts.  Learning and experiencing these things helped broaden the children's understanding of what it means to be a Christian and Who Jesus is.

Food:  Thanks go to all who bought, brought, prepared and served food for our snacks and for the whole VBS staff.  Because of these people the children always had great snacks.

Archiving:  Thanks go to those who spent time recording our VBS for the future, taking pictures and video, and talking to many of us.  And now we'll have many pictures and videos for us to relive the great times of Jerusalem Marketplace.

Cleanup and Facility Care:  Thanks go to those who helped keep the place clean every day, who helped straighten things up, turning off the lights and locking the doors.  

Transportation:  Thanks go to those who provided transport to the children and those who lent the use of their vehicles.  Because of them many children were able to hear God's Word.

Finally, thanks to everyone who contributed in many other ways too numerous to mention, and who prayed God's blessing on this VBS!!
