ST. LOUIS, MO (January 8, 2006) - In its fifth year, the Gateway EITC Community Coalition (GECC) is ready to help citizens in St. Louis City and County with a household income of $38,300 or less in 2006 to prepare their income taxes for free and get more of their money back for them. Eight different days for tax help will be available starting Saturday, January 27. The assistance focuses on individuals or families who qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), which is a federal tax credit designed to help people increase their financial stability numerous ways.
