I-64/US 40號高速公路擴建工程2008年一月份進度
The New I-64 (US-40) is Underway! Are You Ready?
All lanes of I-64/US40 closed in both directions between Ballas Road and I-170 before morning rush hour on January 2, 2008 and will remain closed the entire year.

        【時報訊】聖路易地區各界矚目之40/64號高速公路擴建工程於2008年 1月2日正式展開,地一批到路關閉範圍為Ballas路至170號公路之間,1月2日早晨所造成之交通阻塞情況尚可,多條環外到路均稍顯擁擠,由於1月2日(週三)許多 市民仍在年假當中,交通量並未到達高峰,據估計下週一 (1月7日)年假結束,加上學校開學將會造成較嚴重之交通阻塞。有關單位表示,市民們需要一段時間去適應沒有40/64號公路之不便,希望在最短時間內大家都能夠找到最適合自己通車之路線。

        1月4日到7日,40號公路與Lindbergh 大道之路橋將被銷毀,1月4日(週五)晚Lindbergh大道40號公路交流道路橋將關閉,1月7日(週一)早上,Lindbergh大道南北方向將各有二線可以通車,在Lindbergh大道關閉時可使用270號高速公路代替。

        1月 11至13日及18日至20日,40號公路與Brentwood大道之交流道路橋將被銷毀並關閉兩邊交通,完成後Brentwood大道南北將各有二線通車。

        1月14日40號公路與McKnight路之路橋將關閉銷毀,請使用McCutcheon路跨越40號公路,這項關閉預計4到6個月。

        1月25日至27日,40號公路與Clayton/Warson路之路橋將被銷毀,Warson路至40號公路將被關閉,在整個二月期間Clayton路在夜間會經常關閉以利工程進行。

        December 28, 2007: I-64 Lane Restrictions For The Week Of December 31Monday, December 31

        From 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., I-64 will have one lane closed in each direction at I-270 for restriping. At 8 a.m. an additional lane in each direction will be closed.From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., westbound I-64 will have one lane closed between Kingshighway Boulevard and Hampton Avenue.From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., westbound I-64 will have one lane closed between Bellevue Avenue and the Highland Terrace bridge.From 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., the water company will have one lane of westbound I-64 closed just west of McKnight Road.

        Tuesday, January 1

        Beginning at 9 p.m., expect rolling lane closures around I-64 and I-270 for overhead sign changes.

        Wednesday, January 2

        Starting at midnight and complete by 5:30 a.m., the following I-64 entrance ramps will be closed:Southbound I-170 to westbound I-64Brentwood Boulevard to both westbound and eastbound I-64McKnight Road to both westbound and eastbound I-64Lindbergh Boulevard to both westbound and eastbound I-64Spoede Road to both westbound and eastbound I-64Ballas Road to eastbound I-64South Outer 40 to eastbound I-64

        Once these closures are complete all lanes of I-64 will be closed in both directions between Ballas Road and I-170 for the entire calendar year. Westbound I-64 traffic will be routed north on I-170, west on I-70, south on I-270 back to westbound I-64. Eastbound I-64 traffic will be routed north on I-270, east on I-70, south on I-170 back to eastbound I-64.Also on Wednesday, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., westbound I-64 will have one lane closed between Bellevue Avenue and the Highland Terrace bridge.Thursday, January 3

        From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., westbound I-64 will have one lane closed between Bellevue Avenue and the Highland Terrace bridge.From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., I-64 will have one lane closed in each direction at the Boland Place bridge.From 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., eastbound Clayton Road (by Warson Road) will have one lane closed at I-64.

        Friday, January 4

        From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., westbound I-64 will have one lane closed between Bellevue Avenue and the Highland Terrace bridge.From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., I-64 will have one lane closed in each direction at the Boland Place bridge.From 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., eastbound Clayton Road (by Warson Road) will have one lane closed at I-64.Beginning at 10 p.m., Lindbergh Boulevard will be closed at I-64 until 5:30 a.m. Monday for bridge demolition. Lindbergh will reopen with two lanes in each direction by early Monday morning. Use I-270 as an alternate route while Lindbergh is closed.

        Saturday, January 5

        Lindbergh demolition continues until 5:30 a.m. Monday morning.
