【時報訊】經濟不景氣聲中，如何找工作？聖路易美華協會(OCA)於11月8日上午10時至12時於華盛頓大學Olin商學院Simon Hall 103教室舉辦求職指導研習會，美華協會特邀萬士達信用卡公司專業人士指導留學生如何準備履歷表，如何有效求職，讓社會新鮮人在職場起步成功！
這場研習會不收費用，包括社區僑學界人士及各校留學生均踴躍參加，與會者受益良多。
美華協會(OCA)系列講座第二場將於11月15日上午9至12時，在聖路易Chesterfield市西郡，企業中心(West County Enterprise Center, 743 Spirit 40 Park Drive)舉行商業計劃(Business Plan)企業研習講座 ，歡迎各界前往參加。
The Organization of Chinese Americans, MasterCard, and Washington University Conducted A Job Search Seminar
The Organization of Chinese Americans, St. Louis (OCA-STL), MasterCard Worldwide, and Washington University, St. Louis MBA Greater China Student Association conducted a Job Search seminar, specifically in the area of Resume Building and Interview Skills, on Saturday, November 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. The seminar was designed to equip the MBA students the knowledge and skills to effectively communicate their knowledge, experiences and strengths to land employment.
The seminar was led by the MasterCard Global Talent Acquisition managers Parul Kakkar and Karen Machiran. Each of them provided their professional insights on Resume Building and Interview Skills. 38 enthusiastic and talented Wash. U students attended the seminar. Through lively interactive discussions and exercises, attendees obtained information on key attributes of an accomplishment oriented resume, the types and techniques of an effective interviews, and the Dos and Don'ts in both areas.

OCA-STL is one of the founding chapters of OCA, the largest Asian Civil Rights organization with 83 chapters and college affiliates in the United States. This seminar was the brainchild of the OCA chapter president Helena Hesu and Washington University MBA Career Development director Simona Tripodi. Other follow-up services have been discussed and will be announced in the future.
