The stretch of Natural Bridge Road from Interstate 170 to Lucas & Hunt is currently a nondescript business district, but some observers see it as the next Delmar Loop. Several organizations have combined under the Great Streets program of the East-West Gateway Council of Governments to redevelop the road. University of Missouri-St. Louis's provost for public affairs and economic development is looking at the area to become to their students what the Delmar Loop is to Washington University students. |
