The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded $38 million worth of contracts for various roadway improvement projects. The projects include: Interstate 55 from Route 61/67 (Lindbergh Blvd.) to 4500 S. Broadway -Replacement and rehabilitation of three bridges, resurfacing of ramps, upgrading signals, lighting, fencing, signing and sidewalks. This project was awarded to Fred Weber Inc., Maryland Heights, for $6.6 million. This project is expected to begin in August and should be completed by December 2010. |
