本州 Lake Saint Louis 市榮登 Money 雜誌今年八月刊的全美最佳居住地龍虎榜，在100座最佳城鎮中位居第九。去年，本州的 St. Peters、 O'Fallon、 St. Charles 躋身其中，但均在59名之外。
Money 雜誌綜合犯罪率、學校排名、房屋價格和就業率等因素，每年對人口在8,500和50,000之間的城鎮進行評比，評選出全美最適宜居住的100座城鎮。在如今經濟局勢下，該評選比以往更注重各城鎮的就業機會。
Lake Saint Louis 市素以湖光山色、公園景致、高爾夫球場等眾多親民利民康樂設施著稱，是名副其實的“怡人小鎮”，此次獲選更增添了其市民的自豪感。今年本州另有三座城市榜上有名，分別是Ellisville第25名； Liberty 第29名；Jackson 第 59名。
Lake Saint Louis Named Top 10 Place To Live
Residents of Lake Saint Louis were given a reason Monday to be a little more proud of their homes. The town cracked the top 10 of Money magazine's list of best places to live in America. Lake Saint Louis came in ninth in the magazine's annual listing of the 100 best towns. The list ranks places with a population between 8,500 and 50,000 based on crime statistics, school ratings, home prices and employment levels for its August issue, a spokeswoman for the magazine said.
