JEFFERSON CITY - Laclede Gas Company (Laclede) has filed an application with theMissouri Public Service Commission seeking to adjust the infrastructure system replacementsurcharge (ISRS) on the natural gas bills of its customers. The ISRS first appeared on customer billsin June 2004.
Laclede is seeking to adjust the current ISRS to reflect infrastructure replacement investmentsmade by the natural gas company from June 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009. These costs fornatural gas pipeline replacements and relocations are not currently included in Laclede's rates.Residential customers currently pay an ISRS of $0.99 a month. Laclede seeks to increase theISRS to $1.38 a month.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than January 29,2010, with Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City,Missouri 65102 or by using the Commission's Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS).
Laclede Gas Company serves approximately 631,400 natural gas customers in the City of St.Louis as well as the Missouri counties of St. Louis, St. Charles, Butler, Crawford, Iron, Franklin,Jefferson, Madison, St. Francois and Ste. Genevieve. |
