【時報訊】為落實2010年人口普查人口統計，同時協助不諳英文之僑胞耆老正確填寫人口普查表，聖路易美華協會(OCA)義工群三月二十七日、二十八日兩天下午一時至四時，分別在華埠百利超市，聖路易時報及Delmar路Crown Center耆老公寓定點服務，提醒民眾填寫並郵寄人口普查表，有不少沒有收到表格之民眾或不小心將表格遺失的民眾則在現場取得由人口普查局分發之法定人口普查表，填妥後郵寄。人口普查局表示，人口普查表不可以影印使用，如果遺失或沒有收到，請聯絡聖路易時報取得表格，目前時報提供有英文、中文、越南文、西班牙文之表格，歡迎洽詢取用。
聖路易美華協會2010年人口普查義工群係由活動主辦人Rita Chu率領，二十七日分兵兩路，分別在華埠百利超市及Delmar路Crown Center耆老公寓協助民眾及耆老填表，聖路易基督教華人服務中心董事主席、曾擔任美華協會會長之羅彥豪博士和聖路易華人完整計數委員會(CCC)、聖路易時報代表等都分赴兩個地點協助填表工作，每一位參與的民眾均獲贈有人口普查局精美紀念品。
據統計，沒有收到表格或不小心遺失表格之民眾取表，和在兩個現場經協助填妥表格郵寄之份數超過五十份。聖路易華人完整計數委員會呼籲社區民眾，如果您需要不同語言表格或有任何填表問題，歡迎電詢聖路易時報314-432-3858.
2010年人口普查收回表格之期限為今年四月三十日，如果在此之前人口普查局沒有收到您的表格，該局會派出人口普查專員親自登門拜訪，取回填妥之表格，所以最省時、省事的方式是現在就將表格填妥寄回。

Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA) St. Louis partnered with the Census to run a Census information center at the Olive Farmer𠏋 Market on March 27 Saturday and March 28 Sunday afternoons. The event was a great kick off to the March to the Mailbox campaign and raised awareness to the local Asian community about the importance of participating in the 2010 Census.
Volunteers encouraged customers to complete their official 2010 Census on site. The 2010 Census forms were in English, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Russian and Spanish. Dr. Harold Law, chairman of St. Louis Chinese Christian Community Service Center, St. Louis Chinese Complete Count Committee (CCC) members, St. Louis Chinese American News (SCANews) staff, Alonzo Surrette and Grace Sit (official Census Specialists), were all available to answer questions.
In addition, OCA-St. Louis volunteers went to the Crown Center for Senior Living and provided Census assistance to the local seniors.
