The UMSL Girls' Leadership Camp (Summer 2010: June 20-23 (Sunday - Wednesday) is an exciting summer experience for high school young women. Girls will explore benefits and options for after high school, including different majors and career opportunities with energetic hands-on activities and multimedia presentations.
The camp emphasizes real-world, practical learning experiences, including meeting and learning from college students, faculty and staff about college readiness. Participants will also be introduced to successful professional women across various career fields, and they'll learn about making intelligent choices and taking charge of their ongoing success. Additionally, the camp features opportunities for parents to gain knowledge about helping prepare their daughters for a better future. This is an amazing opportunity for girls to learn about how to fulfill their dreams while having fun with their peers.
Completion of a student application form is required. There is also an application for financial aid.
