Congressman Clay of Missouri, announced today that the Department of Homeland Security has awarded a $3.1 million American Recovery & Reinvestment Act grant to Lambert - St. Louis International Airport to design an upgraded baggage screening system. Clay says, "When completed, this new state-of-the-art screening system will find any potential explosives more quickly and it will also speed up the ticketing process by reducing the number of re-scans and physical bag searches." |
