A couple of hundred supporters of stem cell research - and of Dr. William Danforth's efforts to eliminate roadblocks to it - turned out Sunday night to honor his work. People from the scientific community, a variety of religious persuasions and different political camps drew together to praise Danforth, who helped assure passage of the Missouri Stem Cell Amendment in 2006. |
