【時報訊】美國知名之Kiplinger's個人財務機構日前公佈私立學校年度評鑒，位於聖路易之華盛頓大學評為最具價值之私立學校。
在所有排名中，根據教學品質、學費標準等項目，華大在超過600間Kiplinger所評鑒之私立大學院校中名列13。
在評比項目中，包括錄取率，SAT/ACT平均分數，學生教授比例，學生平均貸款額、獎學金數目及助學金項目等。
所有私立學校中，今年普林斯頓大學排名第一，耶魯大學第二，在加州Pasadena之加州理工學院排名第三。
Washington University named a best value in private colleges by Kiplinger's
St. Louis - Kiplinger's Personal Finance named Washington University in St. Louis a "best value in private colleges" in its annual list released today.
The university ranked 13th on the list, which analyzed the academic quality and affordability of more than 600 private universities and liberal arts colleges.
The study took into account admission rate, the average SAT/ACT score of incoming freshmen, student to faculty ratio, graduation rate, and students' average debt at graduation, plus the availability of grants and need-based aid.
Princeton University topped the list, with Yale and the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena ranking second and third.
